Bridge Speed and Fan Speeds broken #6327

Closed Durahl closed 3 weeks ago

Is there an existing issue for this problem?

OrcaSlicer Version

2.1.1

Operating System (OS)

Windows

OS Version

Windows 11

Additional system information

Core i9-13900KF

Printer

Voron 2.4 with ERCF running HappyHare Software

How to reproduce

Import attached File

Actual results

I've noticed two issues:

  1. Bridges are being slowed down to an unnecessary crawl despite being supported by Zero Clearance Interface Layers whenever Slowdown for Overhangs is enabled - Bridges will essentially use the 75%-100% value which should not be the case: ezgif-1-8e381e3e21 There's really no reason to apply the 75%-100% Slow Down Values to a supported Bridge.

  2. OrcaSlicer applies Filament Overhang Fan Speeds to Areas clearly not being Overhangs: Screenshot 2024-08-03 195109 In the above Example it applies Filament Overhang Fan Speeds to both parts of the Supports and the innermost Perimeters - Neither of which should receive / require this much cooling.

Expected results

  1. Supported Bridges should not be affected by Overhang Speed Slowdown Values.
  2. Filament Overhang Speeds should really only be applied to Overhang Sections.
  3. Please also have a look on how Fan Speeds are being utilized on Prime Towers with No Sparse Layers ( Beta ) checkmarked - As of now there too it seems to apply Overhang Fan Speeds to what essentially is a Solid Infill ( since it has no Sparse Layers ) resulting in way too much cooling and depending on the Bottom Most Material being used resulting in poor bed adhesion.
