black bars over and below a verse #72

-the projection of some verses has problems -Look at the following pictures

What are your settings for scricture display? And have you tried using a different font?

I tried changing the font size. At some sizes, entire words disappear from the verse and sometimes the black bars appear. I tried to change the font-size of the caption too, but this problem is still existing.

The Problem is in connection with the alignment --> when the text is vertical centered.

At the following picture, I'm missing the last word of the verse. the Screenshot 2023-10-30 142317

That is interesting.

What version of SP are you using?

Here are my settings: do they align with yours? [image: image.png]

And is that Dutch Staten Vertaling https://softprojector.org/bibles/Dutch_Staten_Vertaling.zip version of the bible that is used?

  1. I'm using the SP Version 2.1.
  2. And our bible is the "Schlachter2000"
  3. We bought the licence from this translation and we got the bible as XML.
  4. To get this translation in the format of the softprojector I created a script.

Ok. looks you did some work that is for sure.. I am using version 2.2 that I have built myself from source with few changes.

Let me see if the 1951 version has a similar issue.
