PNC Registration - Pregnancy Outcome HIV Status

The question for HIV Status should be rephrased as follows

HIV Status

• [ ] Positive

• [ ] Negative

• [ ] Unknown

• If Status is Unknown, there should also be a follow-up question for HIV Status. If Positive the client should be registered for PMTCT services but if Negative, there should be a follow-up question for HIV test after 4 weeks during her PNC visit.

If Negative, a follow-up question should appear as follows and it should allow us to select date but there should be a lock to fix the latest date selection to current date.

If the date selected is 4 weeks or more than 4 weeks ago with respect to the current date, then the question for HIV test should appear as follows;

• [ ] Positive
• [ ] Negative

If Positive, the client should be registered for PMTCT Services, but if Negative no further action will be required.

• [ ]there is no PMTCT registration for client who are "Unknown"in pregnancy outcome but tested positive at PNC
