Including them is unnecessary and can lead to build issues. Can be fixed by adding ".git" and ".github" to UNSUPPORTED_FILE_TYPES.

I have created an internal ticket to track and fix it.

This issue has now been fixed and the fix will be included in the next release 2024 CD
