- [x] Add liveness check when we instantiate classes (check
!meta/lastalive) - [ ] Add basic correctness (e.g. heatingsetpoint < coolingsetpoint, heatingsetpoint > 0, etc)
- not convinced this is worth adding for now; the devices/drivers themselves already have some protection
Opening this PR in order to generate possible discussion, but I'll probably make some more changes before I merge this.
