with this a better intllib implementation comes in and locales in po format.

official intllib fallback functions implemented
German locale converted
Russian locale added
corrected double closing quotes in one string
all minetest.get_modpath("travelnet") have been replaced by cached variable travelnet.path
IDE has trimmed all trailing spaces in affected files (didn't notice it at first, but is not bad)
.gitignore added for backup files *~

Thanks! That was a very helpful PR that did address several points that needed to be taken care of.
