Changing keyboard layout not working #84

i tried changing the keyboardlayout in the hyprland.conf file to kb_layout = de, but it still only displays and uses the us keymap,

I am also facing this issue, however, it seems the layout is changed but not reflected in the top status bar.

the layout unfortunatly didnt change, i still use the us layout

I'm having this problem too. I'm able to change the layout via the config file and kb_layout = fr, ru as an example, but only the french one works. Even if I'm clicking the top status bar, it only detects the first one I typed in the config file, meaning fr. I tried changing it with ru, fr; and it only detected the russian layout, not the french one.
