How should SSW/SAW handle trivial items? #57

Its sort of an oddity, but for example.

The Damage Interrupt Circuit (pg 68 IO). The construction rules for state that it takes up no weight and occupies no critical slots. It costs 150 c-bills per pilot.

The Direct Neural Interface Cockpit Modification is another one.

So how should SSW/SAW handle it? Its probably stupid to make a separate cockpit for each (ie, basic cockpit, basic cockpit with DIC, basic cockpit with DNI, small cockpit, small cockpit with DIC, small cockpit with DNI, etc). So should it be a checkbox, like SAW handles Chassis modifications and experimental equipment?

Or are these things beyond the scope of SSW and SAW and more the purview of BFB?

I wouldn't mind seeing this kinda stuff as check marks on another tab, and maybe move somethings in the checkbox area that don't affect crits or tonnage (full head ejection, etc) moved to it as well. Otherwise move it off to BFB, even in wide format the interface is pretty full.

I wonder if the best route would be to take a page from Megamek and put them in the Equipment tab and output them near the weapons?

Depending on how many of them there are, what about compacting the "Basic Setup Summary" and putting them under that, so they're near the "Use Command Console"

And that doesn't really work on non-widescreen, does it. Hmm.
