I suggest you also explain common notational conventions which authors use on top of Dirac notation, such as the use of combinations of numbers as names (e.g. |0>, <1010|). I struggled a lot with understanding how I should interpret those, often thinking that I needed to take some sort of vector product before doing whatever product was implied by the specific use of Dirac notation that I'd encountered.
At last, some serious mathematics! Bringing together all the concepts of the first chapter #1 introducing quantum theory and the mathematical fundamentals #4 #5 this chapter will explain the DIrac notation and apply it to the computational basis states $|0> , |1>$.
