imx8 support #3

Hello! Will you add support for pulse boards or I should search support in the other repos?

It's funny how you brought it up when I was just about to ask them the same thing 👍

I've been following their forum as well for well over one year, and still there is no word or news about them adding Yocto BSP upport for their HB Pulse. What they have is a Debian OS image which is good for end user, but not good for vendors like my company that uses their product for some application and wishes to really customize everything. NXP on the other hand did a very good job in updating their BSP for their EVK, the most recent one being Jan 2020!

SolidRun really needs to catch up with their pace for the iMX8 support, they do have a very good hardware but software support since iMX6 had been abysmal and limited. There is not even a forum dedicated to iMX8!

Not sure if you noticed, but they do have a yocto BSP for their ClearFog platform. Seems like they are abandoning the iMX8 Yocto, which is bad news for us that design our product that uses theirs!!
