Goldstone should be able to configure and collect data from OpenStack Liberty. Current focus is on RDO, but version detection and configuration utilities should be written with other distros in mind. Key topics that need to be addressed.

version detection
version specific post-install:configure_stack enhancements
assessment of required configuration file changes
assessment of log and event formatting changes

We found a couple of data related issues:

1) oslo bug that has not been pulled into RDO: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1282093

2) found a logstash pattern issue with API_CALLs where the client_ip could be a comma separated list when X-FORWARD-FOR is used.
