Command /locatebiome breaks when rejoining an existing world

When creating a new world, going to the nether, and using /locatebiome to find a BetterNether/vanilla biome, the command works and gives coordinates as expected. However, when leaving and rejoining that same world, /locatebiome can no longer locate the biomes previously searched for.
