Nether broke, after deleting mod #49

The nether seems to break if you delete the mod. I've had a world on my server, deleted the mod and the DIM-1 folder but now big parts of the nether are just lava.

It seems that nothing is working for making it better? Looks like it's still trying to rebuild parts for the mod even though there is no mod for it anymore.

Delete the old folder then.

Delete the old folder then.

Already tried that like a couple of times, the problem came after deleting the mod and the DIM-1 folder (the map for the nether)

Ah.

Generally deleting dimension-related mods (no matter if vanilla dimension or new ones) is bad idea, since they all interfere with registry at most deep level, as far as I know. The only idea I have, you can check generation settings via NBT Explorer, it may be swapped into Better Nether generation instead of vanilla. If you want example of vanilla settings, make second world and see how it is different from your world.
