Gravel deserts and vanilla nether biomes wont spawn

When looking for a nether wastes biome for a gold farm it kept saying biome not found in a resonable distance, so then I looked in a 76806x76806 radius and still did not find anything, I then tried it for the gravel desert aswell and that didn't work either.
