Jira SOAP API has been removed in Jira 7 #3

SOAP and XML-RPC were removed from JIRA Cloud on July 6 2015 and on-prem installs of Jira 7.

Is there a plan for moving this plugin to the REST API?

Anyone looking for a workaround before this issue is officially fixed can take a look at our fork: https://github.com/Miovision/sonar-jira. It's working with JIRA 7.0, but lacks testing and has been slightly modified to meet some of our needs. Can also grab the jar file here: https://bintray.com/artifact/download/miovision/maven/org/codehaus/sonar-plugins/sonar-jira/1.3.mio/sonar-jira-1.3.mio.jar
