  1. Not sure if exploit is native to SOS2 or because of my modlist enables deviant behavior. (Still investigating a modloader solution, Rimworld gaslighting me, says mods are disabled but they aren't according to player.log. If a mod is an issue, then it my because of RimThreaded.)
  2. Reproducibility - Have an AI core loaded into an archotech spore. Do not create a formgel avatar for it, ever.
  3. Have auto accept exotic particles. (Not necessary, but makes it easy to get lots of $$$$ fast)
  4. Click Demand Gift.
  5. Select the spore, and note the mood is stuck at 50.
  6. Notice the mood doesn't increase despite having pawns meditate at the spore.
  7. For a spore with a formgel conscious, you can de-cohere it, then spam gifts. Mood won't change without a formgel avatar.
  8. It is not clear when an archotech spore will give gifts without the user asking. I thought it was supposed to happen randomly with high mood, but haven't had either spore give. (1 without formgel stuck at 50 mood, other with a forgel with variable mood)

Additionally, the mood of the archospore won't change while the formgel is sleeping. You can ask for stuff without mood penalty as long as its out...but it will be mad when it wakes up.

The spore is becoming another major annoyance as it wasnt designed properly in terms of consciousness. For now i ll likely just disable demands in next release.

Fair enough. The only caveat is that it can be difficult to get exotic particles. A reasonable fix would be to allow the player to sacrifice prisoners, AI cores, or adult cattle for gifts. Instead of turning people into hats and chemfuel, we sacrifice them to the machine god. Bonus points for Ideology integration.

Other option is to have the archotech spore refill buildings in exchange for psychic field strength. Or specifically sacrifice silver for exotic particles.
