Now that the 1.5 compatibility is out, which should include various technical changes, would it be possible for ship weapons to fire on something other than a ship? EG a world tile?
Something like an orbital bombardment on a world tile with a faction base as some sort of fire support when attacking faction bases would be cool. Of course, for balancing, we can make it such that the shots take a few hours to ramp up and reach the surface.
