Currently (per #110 ) the PUSCH configuration is static and on the same PRBset in uplink. This causes high interference in uplink and is considered a very unrealistic configuration. In order to have a more realistic profile of uplink traffic a few things should be implemented:
at the UserEquipment transmitter:
Function that provides a PRBS sequence of bits given a traffic profile
Encoder chain to produce codewords
At the EvolvedNodeB:
Uplink scheduler
v1. Simple exchange of information between UE and eNB
v2. Feedback loop using the correct control signals
The purpose of this issue is to document the needed changes.
Smallest amount of data transmittable is a PRB. If less data than an entire PRB is needed, the throughput is still recorded as though all REs in the PRB carry data.
