#10 Edit and delete a Goal

Value proposition

As a user I want to edit my entries so that i can retroactively adjust or delete my goals

[ ] Inside the List the user can click on "Edit" Button to adjust entries
[ ] After the users clicked edit, the form will appear where the user can make respected adjustment.
[ ] The usel can cancel the form or by clicking save, make changes to the entry
[ ] Inside the List the user can click on the Delete Symbol to delete a certain goal
[ ] The user will be warned after pressing the "Delete" button, if he is sure that he wants to delete it.
[ ] The user will have two possibilities Yes or No
[ ] after clicking Yes, he will return to the List and the entry will be deleted
[ ] after clicking No, the list won`t changed

Create Edit Functionality:

[ ] Implement an “Edit” button next to each goal entry in the list.
[ ] When the user clicks the “Edit” button, display a form where they can make adjustments to the goal.
[ ] Allow the user to cancel the form (discarding changes) or click “Save” to apply modifications to the entry.

Create Delete Functionality:

[ ] Add a “Delete” symbol (e.g., a trash can icon) next to each goal in the list.
[ ] When the user clicks the delete button, show a confirmation prompt asking if they are sure they want to delete the goal.
[ ] Provide two options: “Yes” or “No.”
[ ] If the user selects “Yes,” permanently delete the goal entry and update the goal list.
[ ] If the user selects “No,” keep the goal list unchanged.

Handle UI Updates:

[ ] Ensure that the UI reflects changes immediately after editing or deleting a goal.
[ ] Update the goal list dynamically without requiring a full page reload.

Error Handling:
