Game terminating without any errors when logging into the game #348

After updating to v1.14.8.49, my game crashes after freezing for 2 seconds after getting through the login queue and I see the loading screen. I don't get any error message pop ups, the game just terminates itself and I'm at my desktop screen shortly after. I currently only have GShade installed (no mods installed) and followed the instruction to install GShade first before installing XIVAlexander.

I've tried launching the game without Alexander (only GShade installed) and managed to get into game just fine. I've also uninstalled v49 and installed v48, and I was able to get into the game with v48.

One weird issue I'm seeing is I have an alt on the Chaos DC and I'm able to log into the game no problem on that character, but my Elemental DC, which is my main, is always the character crashing on logging in.

Update: After doing additional tests and multiple reinstalls, I've managed to pin point the issue was being caused by XIVLauncher and not XIVAlexander. Closing this issue.
