Hey there, sorry if I missed something

Alexander was once forced close during an update check and I've had this error prompt since. I've followed the uninstall guide here ( https://github.com/Soreepeong/XivAlexander/wiki/Installation-and-Load-Once ) and I continue to still have this error message upon loading:

I'm not quite sure what I'm missing. Roaming appdata file was deleted. Local appdata file was deleted. and I don't see the d3d11.ddl, d3d9.dll, dxgi.dll or dinput8.dll in my FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\game folder. In addition to running the uninstall option from the installer.

Please let me know if there's anything else here I need to do.

These 3 are all about uninstalling, so it looks like you've done that.

When do you see that error? On running XivAlexanderLoader32/64.exe, or on clicking any button in the main window?

Marscgm commented 2 years ago

Upon launching Alexander. Tried the 'Check for Update' after launch too.

I forgot to detail, hopefully this helps, this force close happened quite a while ago now if any directories were changed.

Do you mean that you've clicked on "Load Once", by "Upon launching"?

Each time it's started.

This seems to cause an issue with Triggernometry at some level as well. Choosing not to load Alexander will allow my triggers to function where as they're otherwise broken. Edit: Nevermind - coincidence not causation
