Game randomly crashes when starting combat #419

Randomly, the game will crash when I start fighting (or if someone in my party starts fighting). It doesn't happen all the time, but it's always the first instance of combat I get into. Sometimes, I can go for two hours just gathering stuff, then I attack a mob and it crashes. Sometimes I enter duty finder, get into a dungeon, then crash as soon as the first enemy gets hit. Sometimes I go a full week without running into any crashes.

I run Dalamud as well, and I have no crashes when using it without XIVAlexander. I have tried it with and without plugins enabled, and have also uninstalled and reinstall XIVAlexander.

Normally when it crashes I don't get an error, but the last time it happened I got an Unrecoverable Error from XIVAlexander. Please see below:

Are you using any kind of extra font modification, other than the presets that came with xivalex download? It sounds like the game crashes when trying to draw damage number, and if it's the case, the modified font config will have to be changed.

Not that I know of. I'm also running XIVAlexander with Modding Disabled (Enabled is unticked).

Since I'm using XIVLauncher as well, I'm going to try and run XIVAlexander through it with the -a load argument. Up till now, I've been installing XIVAlexander into the FFXIV directory.

In that case, does it happen when you disable Dalamud (XIVLauncher plugins)? If it doesn't, then it probably is some plugin conflicting.
