XIV Alex only works when I load it once, not when installing #517

A bit of a weird issue but not sure how to describe it any other way. Im not sure how to monitor / test if xiv alex is working besides going on a practice dummy and getting a feel for my input/weaving. I live on the East coast and I can triple weave(I dont do it in actual combat) with this working as intended.

When I install the game using the XIVLauncher64bit (the pc option not steam) I can feel my double weaves and inputs being sluggish with latancy. I then run the game without it installed and it feels the same.

When instead of installing I choose the option "Load Once without installing" after I launch the game. I notice the difference immediately. I have no issues with weaves and dont feel any input issues.

What am I doing wrong and is it possible while selecting the install dx9/dx11 option im making an error? I use XIV launcher but I feel like they should be compatible. I just want to be able to have it run automatically when I start the game versus having to load it every time.

Any help is appreciated! IF you need me to provide any more info to help solve the issue let me know and ill do my best to provide it.

I'm having the same issue. Since the latest patch, it no longer auto-starts when launching the game. I have to load it into the already-running game any time I want to use it.

Same happens to me I tried reinstalling XIVAlexander a few times and still no change. I can load it once just fine, it just won't start up when using XIVLauncher or even the normal game launcher

Edit: A workaround is to use the auto-launch feature in XIVLauncher and add -a load like in the instructions, but if the loading issue can be fixed it would be even better.
