I installed it using d3d9.dll and d3d11.dll and put the necessary files in ~/.xlcore/wineprefix/drive_c/users/deck/AppData/Roaming/XivAlexander it launches but fails when ffxiv connects to datacenter

I know this has over a year, but leaving for reference - instead of using Alexander, use https://github.com/Soreepeong/XivMitmLatencyMitigator/tree/main - this does work with Steam Deck, although on the Deck you do need to have Decky Loader plus the Decky Terminal plugin to be able to enter the route command as per the guide.

Following up on this: https://github.com/shingonati0n/xivomega - this one is made for Steam Deck
