Fairly sure it works

Same ones I found, can confirm they seem to work.

Question about opcodes, do you need to edit them into Alex every time you load them? I use the load option so I have to go into the 'edit opcodes' and put them in every time. Is there a way to permanently save them?

Turn off "check for opcode updates on startup" to prevent them from reverting.

Anyone else not getting the opcodes above to work? I'm in NA, using version 1.14.8.59, with the opcodes on the first post of the issue, and all I'm getting in the logs are:

2024-03-19 18:54:12.615 SocketHook S2C_Raw: Error: Could not parse game message (sum(message.length for each message) > total message length) [2024-03-19 18:54:12.557] Length=56 ConnType=0 Count=1 CompressionType=2

XIVAlexander seems to have a problem that using the editor inside it doesn't seem to save the file. Try editing the file in %appdata%/XivAlexander directly and restarting the game. It should work then.

Stuff doesn't work when new patch drops is frustrating and totally understand the game doesn't play how it was before patch. However, flat out calling someone a liar is kind of uncall for.

Bear in mind whether is the dev or someone has the know how like the op to tries to help and get things working again.

This is their time they're giving up which could be use to play the game. Not to mention the amount of time the dev spent on creating this in the first place and maintaining it throughout the years; no matter how big or small patch are and they try to get things working within the first few hours when the patch goes live.

I'd like to remind you they don't owe you anything nor obligated to share anything with you or the wider of the community.

So, please be a little considerate with your response in the future.

Except they DONT get it working within hours. The opcodes for NA are STILL not updated on the github pages. I guess they're on vacation or something. And yeah I've heard this that dev free time that. What you are really just saying is that we should be furious with SE instead but SE doesn't care at all. So what you are saying is basically that we are at the mercy of some unknown Dev who is half in the game and could drop us at any moment, to even play this fucking game. That just makes me even more angry.

You should be definitely mad at SE for having netcode that handles latency in such a poor manner. And this is an open-source project, a project someone made with their love in their free time, and other people selflessly contribute to. You're not entitled to any form of support from the dev or from anyone else in here. You should be thankful there even are people willing to help us, and, well, if you're really unhappy, try contributing yourself, or forking the repository.

Also, you probably shouldn't use issues to discuss stuff like this. Leave it for relevant discussion about the issue (i.e. Opcodes for the current patch).

I'd like to report that editing the file directly in the filesystem and THEN opening the game/xivalexander seemed to fix the issue. Thank you very much, @dark-ph

Yes you are right of course. It is just VERY frustrating. Why is this not a scandal for SE? Anyway ty dev for making this available.
