Not finding Location - not starting on game launch #711

Hey guys,

I have used xiv alexander before but I use this with the Dalamud laucnher, for a while now it has not worked at all and will nto boot XIV alexander when the game boots.

As seen above, the xivalxanderloader64 does not show any install files. so i selected 'install d3d9 and d3d11, selected "ffxiv_dx11.exe" and still, it doesnt work.

when the game is running, there is no "Run" option like the guide suggests.

can I get some help?

I can confirm this behavior.

Additionally, selecting "Run game" does not inject XivAlexander into the game process after starting the game from the launcher. Selecting "Load once" while the game is running will inject into the game process, but will not function unless it is injected before loading a character.

Perhaps this is a regression related to Deucalion?

This started happening to me out of nowhere. Using 'load once' before character select worked but XIVAlexander wasn't booting with the game. I tried a number of things but ultimately what seemed to fix it was uninstalling XIVAlexander completely, deleting the configuration folders (the app data ones) and then installing just d3d9 / d311.
