Package future, versioning etc #263

Hi :wave:

Is the team still maintaining this package? It seems very little is going on, also you have incorrectly not set a @next version in NPM, rather bumping the version to v4x. This is not a great practice as running outdated picks up the v2x as the latest version which is Vue 2 compatible only.

This is very confusing to your end user. Can you please declare which versioning strategy you are aiming to go with in the repo's readme as well as maybe look at fixing the versioning is on NPM. If you need any help please feel free to reach out to me.

Following the installation process, an error notification stating '[vite] error while updating dependencies:' is presented. The active versions are Vite 3.2.5 and Vue 3.2.40."
