Sorry, I was going to add this to the last PR, but I was running low on time. (Hence the last remark about where you were in the process of testing.)

This is basically just a QoL patch to enforce a more common error message scheme and resolve a few spelling errors I introduced with my old patch that added the AutoSave setting.

Are you interested in becoming a maintainer of the package? (as, due to my many slow replies, it is kind of obvious i don't have the time)
