Currently, the graph shows email addresses (nodes) with connections (lines). More interactive would allow the user to select a node and pivot on that node (i.e. bring in additional nodes that have connections). There are many features to add to this like trimming graph, limiting number of nodes that can be displayed, undo pivot, selecting node to display emails to/from this address, select connection to show specific emails to/from connected nodes, etc… Not a trivial request but could be implemented incrementally. Related to workflow issue #66 .
