test it on other games and dev build do crash more often then releases do

i did some more netplay testing and i noticed that sometimes the host will crash with a runtime error. i saved a screenshot with the message you can see it here. the crashes happen randomly and they're not very often but they do happen once or twice per play session. it's also worth mentioning that when the host gets the error the client app goes into not responding until the host clicks ok, then the client disconnects and the game runs in offline mode.
both the host and the client are using the dev build 0.9.9.31 on windows 10 and the game played when it happened was battletoads (usa).
