Hi, thanks for your contribution! However, I cannot yet accept it in its current state.

You changed the formatting of several lines that should not be affected.
- Possible solution: Revert the affected lines and/or format the file with dart format.
Your current code changes the default behavior of the printer, which is not an option without a discussion and a major version break.
- Possible solution: Make it opt-in by implementing a flag for the date format, even better a re-usable optional parameter.
