An idea from a discussion related to #65 was providing a way to populate the feed (or a category, or a page?) with posts from external RSS feeds. This could have a couple of benefits:
makes an RSS feed, a typically individual mode of consuming content, into a social experience
can help make new instances not look so "empty" or echo-chamber-esque when only a single or small group of members are posting
allows you to discuss posts from an external source without needing to go to the source/sign up/etc.
given external posts from RSS feeds are just regular posts, members can add them to collections and do all the other normal stuff you'd see from a thread/post on Storyden.
Main work required:
Figure out a design for what adding an inbound RSS feed looks like
Figure out where that would live, in a category?
Answer some questions around UX: should all posts be pulled? What if there's many, should algorithmic feed get involved?
Who "owns" the post, does an RSS consumer need its own account, and if so, should those accounts be marked as "Bot" accounts?
