Putting together the sentences to describe two basic ideas in the program:

Draft: Story Events: List of action events in the story involving characters and moves the story forward toward a goal Timeline: Track the progress of characters and story events over time in your story.

Didn't we talk about Characters, Locations, Story Events, and Scenes since the only place to put these was in the creation dialog for each? No where to place a description of the timeline tool.

A description of the Timeline tool could be placed in the Create Story Event dialogue window. "The Story Event will be placed on the Timeline tool. The Timeline tool tracks the progress of story events, with the first event in the story starting at 0, and following events following, 1, 2, etc. Events in the story that happen at the same time may share a Time, such as two events happening at 0." This seems quite loquacious, if there's a way to breviate it. Then there is the issue of fitting the definition of Story Events in there as well.

"A Story Event is a distinct change within the story world. It may or may not be shown to the audience or reader, but it's something that has happened at some point. The Story Event will be placed on the Timeline tool. The Timeline tool tracks the progress of story events, with the first event in the story starting at 0, and following events following, 1, 2, etc. Events in the story that happen at the same time may share a Time, such as two events happening at 0." Way too long.

We can review if the descriptions of Characters, Locations, and Scenes fits in the program as they're written in the manual, but maybe with some possible actions thrown in:

"A Character is a participant in a story world and can include the perspectives from which you tell your story. A character can be created, named, nicknamed, mentioned, tracked in Scenes, and deleted."

"A Location is the setting of a story event. A location can be created, named, described, mentioned, tracked in Scenes, and deleted."

"A Scene encompasses one or more story events and perspectives. A scene can be created, deleted, tracked on the Timeline, and contain locations, scenes and characters."
