hypermedia - i try to enhance this issue with hyperlinks so we all can notice usefulness of it! same with *@mentions*

I will also suggest it as hackathon during 30C3. Upgrading to _Linked Data_ would also enable us to use WebID for ACL and extend SpaceFED with it? ping @bblfish @deiu

I also plan to work with people from various networks to enable SpaceAPI including: http://fablabs.io | http://copass.org | http://coliving.org | http://nomadbase.org | @spacefederation and having strong Hypermedia API + Linked Data protocol with Web Identity based on crypto could help :sunrise:

BTW I joined CCCongress only once (27C3) and tried to do workshop From state IDs to Web of Trust based identity

@slopjong I know that many people don't want to enable SpaceAPI because of not willing to share for example status to the public. With WebID one could share information in very granular way! Then we can even share presence and one could after authenticating ask things like who uses lab at this moment?

I still need to read very recent thesis by @deiu Data Ownership and Interoperability for a Decentralized Social Semantic Web

Sure, anytime.. skyping or using SIP would be even better because I wouldn't have to install anything new :-P

So far SpaceAPI works read only, what do you think about experiment where one can CheckIn to a hackerspace? This would give us a nice and simple use case for writeable SpaceAPI, for that I would see Hydra coming into play :smile:

Later we could go for use cases where on can use SpaceAPI to book a piece of shared equipment, sign up for a task from a space taskslist, or even at some point open the door... @jnny

@slopjong we have some progress on Portable Linked Profiles, soon also plan to add support for Places and would happily look at interoperability with SpaceAPI https://github.com/hackers4peace/plp-docs Maybe we could discuss it during 31C3? Especially write capabilities like check-in, register event etc.
