I'm working on an analysis task using this software, but this software always forces the file I'm working on to close until it can't do anything at all to do that task.

Please let us know which version you are using. If you are using the latest version (0.8.0) then please share the file with us and let us know exactly what you are trying to do so we might be able to offer a fix.
