Can't jam network with many devices

Basically, the esp8266 can jam my home network, but my friends company network, thata a whole different thing. I had his permission to try to deauth his router. Some of the devices were thrown off the wifi, but my phone was not.

Question is: if i make more esp8266, will i be able to throw off the whole network?, if so how many esp8266 do i need?

Your issue is probably that some of the phones on your friends company network are connected via the 5Ghz band and not the 2.4Ghz band. Because the esp8266 does not have 5Ghz antenna it can not de-authenticate any devices on a 5Ghz network. This issue can not be solved by adding more ESP's. It is also possible that some of the devices you where trying to de-authenticate where not within range of the esp8266. This can easily be tested by bringing the esp8266 near the device you are trying to de-authenticate and checking if it is still connected. If this is you issue it can be fixed by buying more ESP's and placing them strategically around the house.
