OKAY GUYS, I SPEND 3.5 HOURS FOR UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE POWER USB CABLE WITHOUT SIGNAL ONE
Steps Taken: Checked USB cables and ports. Tried connecting GPIO0 to GND to enter flash mode. Attempted to re-flash using different software (esptool, NodeMCUFlasher). Switched computers and USB ports to rule out driver issues.
Environment: ESP8266 model: [NodeMcu V3] Firmware version: deauther_2.1.0_1mb.bin OS: Windows 10 Flashing software: ESP8266Flasher
Expected Behavior: After flashing, I expected the device to be visible in the device manager and to be accessible via COM port for further interactions or reflashing.
Actual Behavior: The device is not recognized at all by the computer. It doesn't appear in the device manager, nor is it detected by flashing tools.
Questions:
Has anyone encountered similar issues with deauther_2.1.0_1mb.bin? Are there any specific steps for recovering a device that is not detected after flashing? Could this be related to a hardware issue with specific ESP8266 models or versions? Any insights or troubleshooting advice would be greatly appreciated!
