Hi just flashed DSTIKE with V2 nightly build bin and for some reason the screen stopped working. I did manage to connect over serial though and when typing screen on I get the error Display not enabled. Am I using the correct bin?

This is a unstable version for testing only, the display function is not enabled. But you can go to https://github.com/SpacehuhnTech/esp8266_deauther/releases and download the latest stable bin file for your board.

Thanks, I tried these also, the only version I can get working is 2.1.0. For v2.6.0 I still can't get the screen to work, I've the deauther watch and can see only two binaries with the word "watch" in their file names. The 2.1 binary that does work is called deauther_2.1.0_DSTIKE_Wristband_Mini.bin

If you are still having an issue I have come u0p with the ROLLBACK type of solutions for you. I had the same issue. It took fixing it by taking these steps.

  1. On the esp8266 deauther home page (this site) from the install Wiki head over to the offered methods of flashing.

a. download the n2d flas b. extract n2d-2021-3-3 folder from the zip file to your hard drive. c. open the n2dapp.exe

  1. Flashing back to working 2.6.0 with working screen using N2D Flash app.

a. with n2dapp loaded up. Where it says Choose a file or Pick from a list. SELECT PICK FROM A LIST b. The list brings up official bin files including the DSTIKE DEAUTHER WATCH which you now will click on. c. clicking on DSTIKE Deauther Watch will now show a device revision select the appropriate revision and click select image d. now the app has downloaded the bin to the computer and with your watch plugged in click SELECT device and give a few seconds for device enumeration and then select your device. e. CLICK FLASH! give permission to flash then click show DIAGNOSTIC INFO to enable verbose

When the flash finishes and sends the reset signal you'll feel your eyes open real wide with a smile on your face when the wathc screen comes on nice and bright.

I hope this helps @spacehuhn @fadyanwar
