High Sierra not installing - Error can't contact update server #92

Hello all, I have been having issues installing High Sierra, it bots into the recovery but I get an error of "Can't contact the update server". Initially I thought it was the Network card but the network tool shows successful connection to the outside world and able to ping 8.8.8.8.

Any Ideas?

I was looking around and it seems there is an issue with the Apple server certificate and one of the workarounds are to change the update URL in the NVRAM from HTTPS to HTTP which I tried it and that actually worked for me!
