An issue with the same name as this was posted last year, which was closed without any resolution.

Can we have a guide/video on recovery steps? Both from Snapshots and Snapshot Replications on another drive.

Sad to see there is still no resolution nor guidance. In the other thread, it was closed stating it would be covered in an upcoming video but it never was.

@SpaceinvaderOne thanks for your great Scripts and videos, those are super helpful. Are there still Plans for a Video or a description on how to recover from the Backups (especially how to recover from another zfs Pool, e.g. Array or remote)?

EDIT:

I used syncoid -r SOURCE DESTINATION (e.g.: syncoid -r disk1/zfs-backup/cache cache/zfs-recovered) This way I was able to recover the complete dataset recursivly, including all snapshots.

Maybe this helps someone else :-)
