Bug description
This issue is also a thing on the Discord website. Even if forcing another output device through "Windows Settings -> Sound -> App volume and device preferences", the sound will still play on the default device, thus using two devices simultaneously.
Only the discord app seems to be able to fix this by choosing "Experimental" under Audio Subsystem options in Voice and Video settings as shown in the following reddit post.
