I'm working on making the menubars take up less space.

Things in branch 'dev' could get quite messy.

A couple of options regarding the layout:

SpringLayout: Hard to actually do, good looking result?
FlowLayout: Easy, but may mess things up a bit.
GridLayout: Just doesn't look good, as some things need more space than the others.
GridBagLayout: Too much work to be done for this one.
BorderLayout: Not usable in this case.

SpringLayout seems to be the only option here.
