800x600 option blanked out in DISPLAY SETTINGS #1

Option to set 800x600 resolution is blanked out. Selecting the resolution in-game crashes when I load into a track.

Hm... i never noticed that myself. Have you messed with dgvoodoo yet and see?

Tried settings as per the instructions - nothing Tried "Passthrough to real DirectX" (a common fix for the old portable version) - nothing will report more solutions once tested.

Tried DxWnd on a fresh install, no dgVoodoo, no tweaks. 800x600 works ingame!

okay, turns out you might not need dxWnd.

set ingame res to 800x600
exit game
start game
it's in 800x600, no crashes

the problem is, if you need to tweak anything in the launcher, you get forced back to 640x480
