Can anybody help with this issue. If you need me to post anymore information just ask. I'm new to this as this is my first cnc i just hope this is a software issue and that I haven't got a bad controller with a hardware fault.
I think I've solve my issue I turned the router back on this afternoon and the problem had resolved but during the afternoon the the system stopped twice due to limit errors which I believe is noise coming from the Bosch router I am using. I have ordered some ferrite blocks to try and suppress the noise but if that doesn't work I may have to separate the cables better.
My cnc xPRO V5 controller which has only been running for a week seems to have lost control of the Y axis in a minus direction. The router homes fine and I can move any axis any amount in any direction but as soon as the move is complete the A/Y2 and Y axis that are linked to control my Y axis start to move in the minus direction and don't stop until they reach the soft limit. No fault lights are showing for the servo drives and the movement to the soft limit is a controlled move not noisy or erratic. During the move you can jog the Y axis in a plus direction but as soon as it reaches the desired position it sets off again towards the minus soft limit.
