Doesn't do anything on FF25b #7

I just updated to FireFox 25 Beta and S4E doesn't seem to do anything.

The progress in the locationbar disappeared and I don't get any urls or status messages in the popup bar anymore.

Same here, using FF25.0 (Final, not Beta) that has just landed in Ubuntu repositories. S4E is 2013.02.16.23, the stock one available in AMO

URL mouseover from links does not trigger the bottom popup anymore.

As a workaround, I've changed Status Text and Links in S4E preferences from "Popup" to "Toolbar" and enabled the Addon Bar in Firefox. It works, but the bar is way more intrusive than the popup.

I've seen a lot of commits regarding upcoming changes in FF26, but none seems to be directly related to the missing popup in FF25. So, does the "development version" 2013.09.14.22b address this issue? Has the breaking changes in FF26 landed earlier?
