This issue is to see if there is any value in keeping this branch alive, as i've stated before, I am not a programmer, and only created this fork in the first place because @AYapejian no longer responded to issues or accepted pull requests, and I felt there was a need to keep the project alive.

is there still a reason to keep this project around? is there any reason we all shouldn't move to https://github.com/zachowj/node-red-contrib-home-assistant-websocket ? if there is still a reson fot this fork to exist, I'll continue to do my best to maintain it, but if not than i'll do my best to clean it up and remove it from NPM.

I guess the event streaming will be removed eventually from HA, which would force you to move into the WebSockets as well. That would basically mean this becomes the same node as node-red-contrib-home-assistant-websocket...
