External storage not mounted. are you in disk mode error (I am in disk mode) #47

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. connect droid to computer to trasnfer roms
2. no folders show my Genplus directory
3. error message: External storage not mounted, are you in disk mode

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected: able to transfer roms to device... instead: error message mentioned 
above

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
brand new phone, unsure of operating system

Please provide any additional information below.
I cannot see my app I downloaded on my SD card, I get the error message, unable 
to tranfer reoms
