Unsure on the version, but even after increasing the size of the d-pad, 
gameplay was still near impossible on action packed side-by-sidestrollers such 
as Gunstar Heroes, Castlevania: Bloodlines, and Streets of Rage 2.
3 of my favourite games of all time made impossible to play.
