T-90MS, M2 turret questions and issues

• Why does the ERA variant look so... plain?

M2:

• Why have two different turrets? Was/is there a BFV that didn't/doesn't have the pod whatsoever?
• Variant names need to be switched (ERA variant is bare, bare variant has ERA)

T-90MS/M2:

• I know this is a silly question, but do the variants actually make a difference?

Middle turret is the original PEW t90.

If you use the mod animated attachment with bd armory, parts can rotate along with the turret even without having to use the dead rotor same-vessel-interactiln cage method
