Visual Studio's Specflow extension has a very convenient feature of choosing to generate missing step definitions and saving them in a clipboard, allowing the user to paste the step definitions anywhere they need, as far as I can see, SpecfFlow.Rider is missing such a feature. The only way to generate step definitions is by choosing an existing or targeting a new steps file.
